Overcoming Fear, Worry, and Anxiety by Elyse Fitzpatrick: Fitzpatrick begins with a description of the body's response to fear. She spends a chapter talking about biblical characters who suffered from fear. She then spends a few chapters looking at the root of fear being in wanting to control your own circumstances and how this desire for control grows and leads to more fear, worry and anxiety. This book addresses fear caused by perfectionism and doubting God's sovereignty and care. The reader is encouraged to replace fear of earthly matters with a fear and reverence of God. The outward signs of change will be loving others and displaying grace in holiness, confidence and thankfulness. There are study guide questions for each chapter.
